As a proud women-owned business, we believe in lifting each other up. We make it a priority to support other women-led companies so that we can grow and thrive together. That is exactly why we fell in love with East View Coffee. We deeply admire their mission, and best of all, we love their coffee. We know you will too!
In the specialty coffee world, it is easy to get caught up in tasting notes and high scores. While we love an interesting brew, all that noise can make us lose sight of the human side of coffee. These beans are grown and nurtured by real people whose lives are deeply intertwined with ours.
Even though the coffee industry is heavily male-dominated, the truth is that women make up about 70 percent of the actual labor force. Their work is absolutely essential, yet they are rarely recognized. East View is actively changing that story by raising awareness of gender inequality and financially empowering women growers. They started with half of their coffee coming from women-led farms, and today, they are nearly at 100 percent. We are so proud to serve a cup of coffee that taste amazing and does so much good.
